There is a calendar of events for the church posted all around town. Since it is just before Lent, a lot of activities were scheduled for the end of February. One was the carnaval.
We didn’t realize it was time for the parade until we passed by the Santo Domingo church and found the people getting ready to begin.
These little boys were having a great time being big people. The pants alone are as tall as they are.
